This service provider has conducted its own assessment of the value of the service, its data handling practices and its measures against the anticipated risks. The following are the excerpts from the report.

1. Service Values

(1)Service Outline

The ExpoID Management System is a system for registering and managing the ExpoID, which is a common login ID used for various services at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
By registering an ExpoID, each user can purchase admission tickets, book the date and time of their visit, and use various Expo-related services and content by logging in via SSO.*

*SSO (single sign-on) is a mechanism that allows users to log in to multiple systems and services by simply entering their ID and password once.
 Users are logged in with their ExpoID, they will not need to log in to use other Expo-related services.
 (Users will need to re-log in after a certain amount of time has elapsed since they last logged in.)

Functions Provided

An ExpoID, which is a common login ID used for various Expo services, can be registered.

A representative may register an ExpoID on behalf of a person who is unable to register an ExpoID themselves, such as a person under 16 years of age.

Information will be disseminated to those who have obtained ExpoID and wish to receive it.

Users can use various Expo services by logging in with their ExpoID without having to re-enter their ID and password.

A third-party assessment is conducted for those services that acquire user-related data from other service providers through the data utilisation initiative based on the user’s consent. This service does not acquire data from other service providers, but only provides it to other providers, and is therefore not subject to the assessment.
