• Theme project: The signature pavilion ‘Better Co-Being’ has the theme of ‘Resonance of Lives’. It provides an experience in which we, who live together in connections, can create a new world together by resonating with diverse life forms, such as between people, between people and nature, and between people and the world.
• The Better Co-Being app will not only help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the exhibits in this pavilion, but will also allow them to experience a glimpse of what a future society, in which we live together connected by data, will look like by sharing experiences at various locations within the Expo Site.
• With this app, visitors can use their smartphones to view explanations of the pavilion’s exhibits and other visitors’ feelings of their experiences inside and outside the pavilion, thereby providing an opportunity for learning about the diverse values of others.
• Furthermore, users will be able to check their own values visualised through the posts of others they have favourited and their own posted feelings, and they will also have the opportunity to see the values of other visitors and feel connected to them through the similarities with their own.
Functions Provided
①Viewing other visitors’ reviews
・By activating the camera on a visitor’s smartphone, the view seen through the camera is superimposed with the feelings of other visitors.
②Posting users’ feelings
・Putting into words what users experienced and felt, and posting it along with a photo taken with this app.
③Viewing and searching facilities at the Expo Site and event information
・Displaying and searching for a list of facilities and events at the Expo Site as well as maps.
④Viewing user information
• Displaying posts of other visitors that users have favourited, as well as users’ own posts.
• Visualising and displaying users’ own values and connections with other visitors.
⑤Viewing explanations of exhibits and experience results in the pavilion
• Displaying the explanations of exhibits.
• Based on the reactions to the exhibit, it displays users’ own values and connections with other visitors who are experiencing the exhibit at the same time.

The provided app not only helps visitors understand the exhibits of the pavilion but also allows them to experience its theme, which I believe will attract people’s interest. I found it advantageous that visitors can use their smartphone cameras to view explanations of the pavilion’s exhibits, making it convenient for users. Additionally, consideration is given to users, as they can choose not to provide personal information when logging in.
